Frequently Asked Questions:

We have updated and enhanced our time system however with any collection system there are different scenarios that may cause issues for the user.  We have tried to list a few that we have run into here.  If you have something that you have run into please let us know so we can address the issue and let others know how to deal with it should they encounter the same problem.

Q: Can I bookmark the timesheet form for easier access?

A: No. If you bookmark the timesheet there is no assurance you will always get to tee page you think you want to reach. Our "Main Page" uses pointers so we can do maintenance on the site with minimal interruption to availability. It allows us to point to new pages as they are available without changing the site structure. If you bookmark the timesheet and we change it you may be looking at an outdated form.

Q: I filled out my time and then when I submitted I received a blank timesheet to print at the end. Is my time recorded.

A: Most times this actually enters your time correctly on the system it just causes the web-form to error. You probably have some "empty" fields. One example is, the boxes to input hours initially have a "0" in them.  If you replace or delete those numbers and do not replace them either with a number or a zero you will receive either a "NaN"(not a number) error or no numeric entries on the printable time sheet at the end of the process.  Please make sure there is either a number or a zero in each of the numeric hour boxes.

Q: I entered my time sheet and hit <enter> when I was done and the time ticket was blank.  What happened?

A: Hitting enter will give you a blank time sheet. To submit your form after you have entered all of your information.  Go to the bottom of the page and use the "Submit Time Record" Button.  Hitting just the enter button sometimes causes other unpredictable results.  We recommend moving from field to field you can use either your mouse or the 'tab' key.

Q: I received a "Type Mismatch" error when submitting the form. What does that mean?

A: Most of the time this means that the form expected a certain type of data and that was not what it received. An example would be a letter in a number field. Numbers in a date field without the "/" between them. Dashes in the date field instead of slashes. To fix this you can hit the "back" arrow and check you form and them once the data is verified you should be able to submit properly.

Q: I received an error. "ODBC Error - database locked by .....".  What do I do?

A: This error is caused when the database is in use for maintenance.  Typically, you can wait a few minutes and re-enter your time.  If you continue to get this error call payroll or send an e-mail to website@gonzer.com.

If for any reason you think your time did not get processed, please contact your personnel representative, or the payroll department.
